Step 1: A Gentle Start

​We give your pup a gentle start in a safe, comfortable space designed to help them adjust at their own pace. If dropping off before the first rotation at 9:00 AM, we will give your pup a kennel space with a bed, blanket, and water bowl. For extra nervous pups, their kennel space will be furthest away from loud noises and any extra stressors. When the 9:00 AM rotation begins, we give your pup first sniffs of the yard before beginning their temperament evaluation with the pack.

Step 2: Finding Their Group

When they are ready, we place them in a well-matched playgroup based on behavior and energy levels. We carefully assess how they interact with other dawgs in their group. Regardless of temperament, we always separate un-fixed males and un-fixed females. Throughout the day, we dynamically adjust dawgs between groups based on how they're feeling. Their final group placement is always communicated with the owner.​

Step 3: Ongoing Support

We watch closely and adjust as needed. We offer all-day play for dawgs who need non-stop exercise, but we also build in downtime for dogs who crave their afternoon nap (or naps, we don't judge). If your dawg becomes overstimulated or needs that quiet space to nap, we move them to a kennel space for a break - their comfort is our priority. We maintain consistent oversight for when they are ready to return to their playgroup.

Step 4: Keeping You Updated

We will shares updates on how your pup is doing, who they're bonding with, and what we recommend going forward. We make sure to give every new client a proper introduction - all documented on our Facebook Group page, "The Dawg House Pack." We recommend checking our Group Page consistently throughout the day, as all of our daycare pictures are uploaded daily.
